INTRODUCTION

Due the tremendous amount of multiplier effects offered   by the tourism industry it was decided to be a wise idea to complement the  tour guide training  with establishment  of a tour company  which  will be run and managed  by the centre.

As  the  opportunity for  individual  human kind to experience nature diminished  Tanzanians protected areas system becomes  price less treasure for all future generations. For scientists, intact wilderness offers the only opportunity to understand how complex ecosystems work. And for all human kind Tanzania National Parks system provides the spiritual connection that is vital  to our own and the  earth’s  survival.

The landscape conveys an impression of absolute permanence. It is very lonely yet the absence of all human traces gives you  the feeling you understand this land and can take your place in it.

No other nation on earth contains within its boundaries a pristine wilderness at once so varied and extensive. From the desolate, sweeping vistas of the beaches of the Indian ocean to the volcanic mounts Kilimanjaro and Meru, from the  jagged eastern  coast mountains of Lake Tanganyika to the worn stone out   cropping of the Serengeti plains. This is a land where a traveler still can find vestiges of  primeval place Tanzania  offers the international traveler the opportunity to experiencing the vacation of a life time. Tanzania also contains a rich amount of  cultural diversity, with over 120 different tribes.

MISSION

To promote tourism in Tanzania  in a wider range by giving theoretical learning and also the students getting  a practical package  through  several touring companies.

TOURISTS TOUR GUIDES

In order to go along and get along, we aim at establishing a tour company which is of a very high quality, able to enter  into the already very competitive tourist industry.  This will only be achieved by using the highly qualified and experienced tour guides – the Tour Guide Training Instructors who have all worked with TANAPA for a period of not less than 20 years both as Park Wardens and  Ecologists. They will be  involved in promotional and marketing missions abroad to have direct contact with the potential tour agencies. However, they will be assisted by the tour guides trained from the AVTC. Tour guides will  have to be well trained  in history/cultural and eco-tourism as well as mountain climbing. This will enable  tourists  get maximum experience out of their tour in the area.
